hen I was deciding on a name for my freelance writing company, I looked to the source of my inspiration. Writers and other creative types all seem to get their inspiration from different sources.Some find it in the shower, some relaxing, some doing physical exercise. I find mine in nature. No matter what I'm working on, my thoughts are clearer and more creative when I'm in nature. Some of my best ideas come while I'm hiking with my dog.
o I found it only fitting to name my company after my favorite natural place in the world. Mohawk Lakes is a series of lakes and cascading waterfalls that start high above timberline. They are located just south of Breckenridge, Colorado.
he Mohawk Lakes logo is meant to reflect the place the company is named after. The "M" is the mountains, green in the summer. In the center of the "M" is a lake. Water cascades from the lake to form the back of the "L" into another lake that forms the base of the "L".
